Shoes: the next fashion frontier?

This season, we're seeing an explosion of creativity in shoe design: funky heels, wild color combinations and patters, unexpected adornments.

Indeed, many editors have commented that, having maxed out their options with clothing and handbags, designers are now turning to footwear as their key creative outlet.
