Ready for more "Sex?"

This just in: Entertainment Weekly reports that a sequel to chick-flick blockbuster Sex and the City is already in development.

Which, given that the original has grossed $146 million since its May debut, begs the question "What took you so long?"

"We're really heartened by the fans' enthusiasm," said Michael Lombardo, president of HBO's programming group. "Absolutely, there is a lot of energy behind doing another SATC movie."

No further details have been released, but we'll all be anxiously awaiting updates.

And shopping for our premiere-party outfits.
