Cartoonish couture for a cause

On September 7, eager attendees of New York Fashion Week crowded into one of the Bryant Park tents to catch a glimpse of a true icon: Snoopy.

The event, "MetLife Snoopy in Fashion," featured over 30 one-of-a-kind looks created by fashion heavy-hitters such as Isaac Mizrahi and celebrities like Whoopi Goldberg—each one inspired by a Peanuts character. (Pictured at right: "Snoopy" by Stuart + Brown)

During the month of October, these truly unique pieces are being auctioned off on eBay to benefit Dress for Success, a nonprofit organization that provides disadvantaged women with professional attire and training to help them succeed in the workplace. And if the runway outfits aren't your thing, you can show your support by bidding on one of several celebrity-designed Peanuts t-shirts beginning October 21.

Check out the video of the Bryant Park show and see how your favorite Peanuts character would rock the couture scene!
