Spring trend alert: look-at-me prints

For us at least, nothing induces more eye-rolling than hearing the hot trend for spring is ... florals. As Miranda famously quipped in The Devil Wears Prada, "Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking."

And with that, we're tickled to announce that one of the biggest trends this spring is flo—hey, wait, where are you going? We were going to say "florid spays of color in bold, brash prints." Sure, there's a bloom here and there, but for the patterns of Spring 2008, no wallflowers need apply.

Look for dresses, skirts, blouses, and even handbags in ballsy, colorful plays on stripes, geometrics, plaids, houndstooth, and, yes, even florals. What's your favorite color? No need to answer: this season, you'll probably be able to find them all on the same piece for an unmistakeable sassy statement.
